assalamualaikum this is the 3rd time that i (will) change my modems as well as the TV box. now for those who wants to know, Switzerland by far is dominated by Swisscom, one of the largest telecommunication provider. theres quite a few but this is probably the most promoted company. in my limited knowledge, theres also UPC Cablecom (which boasts cheap and REALLY fast internet... but bad customer services), Orange... yeah. i think thats it. theres of course more but those 3 are the common ones i encounter when it comes to connectivity. i started out with another provider (prepaid) before slowly venturing to postpaid as well as internet (internet came a bit later since the first apartment i stayed in had no way of installing your own internet as they already have one pre-installed and you had to buy monthly credits from the company who owned the building... sort of a hotel apartment). hence it was quite a while for me to get into the real deal. after having a postpaid line for...

assalamualaikum, i've been waiting for her debut this whole month when i heard that she will finally debut as an MMA fighter on August 17th. and it was definitely worth it. although i saw this through a recorded broadcast, i must say, wow! great job Song Ga Yeon! amazing and really didn't expect you to go through it fast and thorough. less than 5 minutes at that. i would've thought that you would take your time and pace yourself to put down your opponent. Song Ga Yeon dubbed as the Korean Deadly Beauty but i was taken aback and absolutely shocked at the first few seconds of the beginning where she immediately pummeled down Emi Yamamoto with an array of punches. after that it was smooth sailing all the way. Yamamoto gave quite a struggle but it was absolutely a futile effort. i was also amazed at her smooth actions on launching take downs. assalamualaikum i owes looked forward to weekends. the only time where i get to sleep a lot n also... sleep a lot. did i mention trying to be a chef as well with my new grill pan? yeah, that too. apart from that, i went to the Fete de Geneve where they showed beautiful firework displays combined with some music. quite fascinating but after 20 minutes of staring up in the sky, my neck really came out sore. wish i cud lie on the grass while watching the fireworks but there were to many people. speaking of people, i kinda felt like i was in Jeddah or some arabic country coz there was a ton of Arabs walking around. my friend tells me that its normal to see them around here during summer, but most probably next year wont be as much since Ramadhan is during the summer. well, we might not know anyways. m still frustrated that i don't have enough 'resources' to buy a camera. theres so much to see n share with u all about the happenings in Geneva. especially for those who don't...
